Dorian leads the User Experience Design Team in Harvard Web Publishing. As a member of the core team of the Harvard User Experience Initiative, she works to grow awareness of the benefits of user-focused design of websites and applications, to build skills (teaches a User Experience Foundations class through the IT Academy) and to provide consulting services helping teams balance business goals with user goals as they work on websites and applications. She is also involved in a Harvard mobile strategy effort, which aims to make sure that our faculty, students, and staff have a great experience on a wide range of devices. She joined the HWP team in July 2013 after 12 years at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, where she was manager of the Web and Interactive Services Team, incorporating user experience into every project. She holds a Master's degree in Interactive Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
